My name is Walter. I am a husband, father, Star Wars nerd extraordinaire, music lover, licensed therapist, and a great many other things. My life was changed forever when I was 17 years old, and Jesus saved my life. Since then, I have been working with youth off & on in youth ministry and mental health counseling. Since stepping into the mental health field, I have loved working with families & teens. Prior to working with New Visions, I have worked in residential treatment, inpatient care, PHP/IOP, while providing family therapy, individual counseling, group therapy, trauma-informed care, substance use treatment, addictions, assistance with personality disorders, mood disorders, and more.
