Hello, my name is Raelene Howard. I have struggled with multiple disorders, substance abuse and mental health issues for the better half of my life. By the grace of God, I was able to overcome my addiction and the urges to use substances to self medicate 3 1/2 years ago. I found my way from living in a car to living in a loving home. I found my way out of abusive relationships and “friendships”, into meaningful, healthy and loving relationships. I was led back to my faith and my relationship with the Lord is stronger than ever. I am beyond blessed to work with youth who are struggling, and to be a voice of reason, guidance and just a good friend. My mission is to impact the kids that I work with, giving them the hope necessary to get them back on the right track. In recovery, support is one of the biggest tools for success, and I love that I get to be that for the youth in our community.
